Ann Alford - If It Ain’t One Thing (It’s Another) (Hy Sign, 1972)

We all feel pretty poor this time of year.  End of the year, flights, presents, parties, debts and credit.  Ann Alford has it pretty bad in this song.  Notice in the second half of the verses, the horn parts are very similar to the pizzicato parts in James Brown’s “It’s A Man’s World”.  The finale really picks it up.
